Maureen Denise McCormick is a famous American actress, singer, and author. McCormick was born on August 5, 1956, in the Encino section of Los Angeles, California. She got the Baby Miss San Fernando Valley beauty pageant when she was six. In 1964, she first appeared on United States national television in Mattel advertisement for Barbie and Chatty Cathy dolls. She played a guest role and appeared as Marcia Brady on the ABC television sitcom The Brady Bunch, plus she reprised the role in several of the numerous Brady Bunch spin-offs and films. Further, she had a brief career as a recording artist. She has released four studio albums with the Brady Bunch cast and also touring with them. She only released a country music album, When You Get a Little Lonely, in 1995 as a solo artist. In 2008, she published an autobiography, Here’s the Story: Surviving Marcia Brady and Finding My True Voice, which ranked at number four on The New York Times bestseller list.
