Meet with Vocal Virtuosos of the Sing 2 Cast
“Sing 2” is an upcoming animated musical film produced by Illumination Entertainment and Universal Pictures. It is a sequel to the 2016 hit movie “Sing.” The film features a cast of talented voice actors, including Matthew McConaughey, Reese Witherspoon, Seth MacFarlane, Scarlett Johansson, and Taron Egerton.
In Sing 2, the outrageously hilarious animals and their uplifting performances are back for another amusing and uplifting musical. Children and adults seeing the first Sing movie learned how to face their anxieties and stop worrying about what might go wrong or what other people might think. It encouraged viewers to be themselves, dream large, gives in to music, and only sing!
The cast members of Buster Moon’s theatre must use those lessons as they once more confront their fears while pursuing their biggest aspirations. The group must get their stage anxiety while navigating difficult emotions and some formidable new dance techniques on a larger platform in front of a larger audience with considerably higher stakes.
Garth Jennings wrote and directed the follow-up to the 2016 movie Sing, which starred Matthew McConaughey, Reese Witherspoon, Scarlett Johansson, Nick Kroll, Taron Egerton, and Tori Kelly in their original roles. Bobby Cannavale, Halsey, Pharrell Williams, Letitia Wright, Eric Andre, Chelsea Peretti, and Bono also provide their voices to the sequel’s characters.
The Sing 2 will have its world premiere at the BFI London Film Festival on October 22, 2021, and it will hit theatres in the US on December 22, 2021, in RealD 3D, IMAX, and Dolby Cinema.

To get Clay back to the stage, Buster must locate the now-isolated Clay.

If you watched Sing 2, you love these characters. These are all mentioned below.
- Suki Lane, the dog assistent
Jimmy’s arrogant canine helper and talent scout is Suki Lane. Although she has a small part, she is crucial to the story. You learn later that she was trying to protect Buster from Jimmy because she is conscious of how awful a person he can be and that Buster can not take enormous leads. After the movie, she assists Buster in escaping and permits them to execute their actions. The lovely, caustic, dry voice of Chelsea Peretti is the ideal suit for her.
- Meena, the teenage elephant
Meena is a young elephant who formerly overcame acute stage fright but is currently afflicted by a different phobia. She likes an elephant, an ice cream vendor, and a guy named Alfonso (Pharrell Williams). She oscillates between being awkward around Alfanso and being uncomfortable around her on-stage love interest Darius (Eric André), an eccentric Yak who is a little too outgoing for Meena’s shyness.
- Clay the lion
Clay is a middle-aged lion with a white mane. He was a rock legend, Before the death of his wife, Ruby. Then, Clay isolated himself from society, lost his musical taste, and expelled everyone. Ash is the one who expresses sympathy for him and tells him that she cannot possibly understand the suffering he is experiencing while praising his music. Finally, he decides to try melody again because performing on stage makes him feel alive. The iconic singer Bono is the ideal option to portray Clay, a rock hero of equal stature.
- Nooshy, the dancer
Johnny discovers Nooshy, a lynx street dancer, on the streets. When he first sees her, he assumes she can teach him the choreography and help him restore his dance confidence. She accepts the challenge and wagers with the veteran dancer that Johnny will be able to outdance him after she’s finished working with him.
- Klaus Kickenklober, the dancing instructor
The first dance instructor for Johnny was a probosci’s monkey named Klaus Kickenklober. Johnny can learn from him due to his strict instructions and hectic setting. When Johnny obtains a new instructor, Klaus becomes angry, and during the live performance, Klaus, instead of the actor Johnny was supposed to dance-fight, appears. In the end, Johnny triumphs, and Klaus concedes the loss.
- Koala, owner of the theatre
The owner of the New Moon Theater is a koala named Buster. All of the plays presented there are written and directed by him. He wants to step up his performances in this film, leave his intimate theatre, and play on a “huge stage.” When the talent agency refuses to give him his ticket to success, he decides to take matters into his own hands. He sneaks into an audition and charms Jimmy Crystal, the owner of Media Entertainment, by telling a lie that Buster must now make real.
- Ash, the guitarist
After she departs to pursue her rock career, Buster asks Ash, a porcupine punk rock guitarist, to return and perform with them. She aids Buster in hiding his great lie to Jimmy—that he knows renowned singer Clay Calloway and has permission to not listen to his songs but also to perform with them—which is that he knows Calloway and will perform with the tunes. When Buster makes the suggestion and lies about it, he does not even know who Calloway is.
Johnny, a young gorilla in the last movie, deserted his father’s criminal organization to pursue a career as a musician. He now has a new challenge as he must pick up dancing. In one of the finest character arcs of the movie, he tries to learn from “the best,” but he can not handle the teaching method, so he leaves to find his teacher.
