She got her education from a Middle school ” Pauline Hudges”. When she was in 7th Grade her teacher Cynthia Glenn heard her voice from the hallway and she wanted to give her audition for the school choir. Kelly told her teacher that she had never gone to learn professional vocal training.
She completed her school in 2000 at Burleson High School. At the time she performed in many musicals such as Brigadoon, Annie Get Your Gun, and Seven Brides for Seven Brothers. She wants a scholarship for her college admission based on music. So after completing high school, she was offered full scholarships to the University of Texas, Berklee College of Music, and the University of North Texas.
