Natasha Tonya Henstridge is a Canadian model and actress. On August 15, 1974, she was born in Springdale, Newfoundland, Labrador. At 14, she entered the Casablanca Modeling Agency’s Look of the Year contest and was selected, first runner-up. The following year, Henstridge went to Paris to pursue her career in modeling. She was first featured on the magazine cover, the French edition of Cosmopolitan at 15.
Many other magazine covers followed, and she went on to do television commercials for products such as Old Spice, Olay, and Lady Stetson. In 1995, she first came to prominence with her debut in the science-fiction thriller Species, followed by playing in Species II and Species III.
After that, she continued to cast in a string of films, including Maximum Risk, The Whole Nine Yards, The Whole Ten Yards, Ghosts of Mars. Her television work includes She Spies, Eli Stone, and Would Be Kings. Moreover, she won the Gemini Award for Best Actress. Since 2019, she has been starring in the CBC Television series Diggstown.
