At the age of 16, Lambert performed on the Johnnie High Country Music Revue in Arlington, Texas. She released her self-titled debut album in 2001, which consisted of 10 tracks. On September 15, 2003, Lambert signed with Epic Records and released her second debut album, Kerosene, in 2005, which was certified Platinum in the United States. The album’s four singles charted on the top 40 on the Billboard Hot Country Songs. Her fifth album, Platinum, won the Grammy Award for Best Country Album. Lambert’s sixth studio album, The Weight of These Wings, certified Platinum by RIAA, and seventh studio album, Wildcard, went on to win the Grammy Award for Best Country Album in early 2021.
