Joe Francis was born to parents Maris Francis and Raymond on April 1, 1973, in Atlanta, Georgia. His parents relocated to Newport Beach, California, when he was 7 years in age. There, he got admitted to Our Lady Queen of Angels Catholic Elementary School. After that, he went to different boarding schools for education purposes.
Further in time, he lived somewhere in the neighborhood of Laguna Beach and enrolled in Laguna Beach High School, and it was then that he started his first job at a computer store.
