		<description>Did you visit during the war? I took a tourist boat trip at night and there were red lanterns everywhere. Even distasteful papier mache pigs with frightening eyes lit up green. But maybe the light was concentrated in one area - I'll ask my Nanjing friend/tour guide...</description>

		<description>Speaking of Nanjing and lights. The place seemed to be in general darkness at night when I visited, with most buildings gloomy, and nary a light showing apart from a very few neons. Is there some sort of policy to save electricity? No-one seemed to think it out of the ordinary.</description>
